Springfield College

-A dual-sport athlete at Springfield, competing in the both football and track and field.

-Earned three Springfield College Male Athlete of the Year awards during his four-year career.

-All-New England Defensive Tackle and two-time record holder in the shot put.

-Became a head track and field coach and physical education teacher at Mahar Regional High School in 1976.

-Head coach of the Mahar Regional football program from 1982-2011, winning three state titles and 10 league championships.

-Won the Division II Western Massachusetts Championships four times as a track and field coach.

-Inducted into the Massachusetts High School Football Coaches Hall of Fame in 2012.

-Inducted in the Tantasqua Regional High School Athletic Hall of Fame in 2012.
