- Proven to be a very successful coach at Freehold (N.J.) High School for 34 years, at Newfield High School in Selden, N.Y. for 15 years, and at Minnechaug High School in Wilbraham, Mass. for two years
- His gymnastics teams were State Champions in New Jersey in 1958 and 1959, in Massachusetts in 1961, and in New York in 1976 and 1977
- Won the National High School Gymnastics Association Coaching Award in 1977, 1990, 1991, and 1992
- Won the New York State Gymnastics Officials 25-year Service Award in 1992
- Developed and ran the Island Gymnastics Summer Camp for over 40 years
- Developed and ran the Dunton Island Gymnastics schools
- Founder and President of the New York State Officials Association; founder of the Suffolk County Officials Association
