Springfield College

-Hired as first football coach and director of athletics at American International College, 1933

-Credited with Starting AIC's intercollegiate athletic program

-Coached football and basketball at Boston University

-Served as officer in U.S. Navy in 1943and coached professional athletes Ted Williams, Johnny Pesky, Bobby Deer, Bear Bryant and Otto Graham

-Returned to Springfield in 1953 to Coach Technical High School

-Retired in 1970 as City of Springfield's director of health, physical education and safety

-Recipient of Edward Hickox Tip-Off Classic Committee Award. 1990

-Elected to the AIC Athletic Hall of Fame and the Boston University Athletic Hall of Fame
