- During his time at Springfield College, he played football, basketball, baseball, track & field, and golf
- Since graduating, he has made his mark in New England as an educator, coach, administrator
- Graduated from SC in 1958 (magna cum laude) with a degree in physical education
- Received professional baseball tryouts with the Braves and Giants
- Taught physical education at three high schools in New Hampshire from 1958 through '64
- In 1964, he joined the faculty at New England College in Henniker, N.H. as the Coordinator of the Physical Education Program
- At NEC, he coached cross country, basketball, baseball, and for 25 years during which he never had a losing season, golf
- He became the Director of Athletics at NEC in 1974, and later helped to create the NEC Athletics Hall of Fames - to which he was inducted in 1998
- Has been named the NAIA District 5 Athletic Administrator of the Year, and the District 5 Golf Coach of the Year on three occasions
- Inducted into the NAIA Hall of Fame in 2002
- Also Officiated for 45 years in the New Hampshire Public School system
