Springfield College

A standout student-athlete for the Springfield College women’s lacrosse program, played a pivotal role in the program’s success, helping lead the team to the 2026 NEWMAC Tournament Championship title and NEWMAC Regular Season titles in 2003 and 2006.

Named as the 2003 NEWMAC Women’s Lacrosse Rookie of the Year, a four-time NEWMAC First Team All-Conference selection and earned a spot on the 2006 IWLCA Division III Berkshire All-Region First Team.

Ranks second in program history with 220 career points and 159 career goals. Also ranks top-10 all time with 61 career assists, 106 career caused turnovers and 131 career draw controls.

Holds the single season program record for ground balls with 92, which she accomplished during her rookie season.

Guided the women’s lacrosse program to 46 total wins and to a record of 21-3 in NEWMAC contests. Carmody led the team to back-to-back appearances in the NCAA Championship Tournament as well as a spot in the ECAC Championship tournament her rookie season.

Went on to serve as the women’s lacrosse head coach at Regis College (Mass) and spent 11 years as a special education teacher in the Waltham Public School system.
